What are "Mother of Pearl" Pearls?
Mother of Pearl pearls are perfectly round beads made of pound shell. They look very

Why are not all Pearl necklaces
knotted?
Necklaces with multiple pearl strands which are twisted are hardly ever knotted and neither are necklaces
with smaller and/or cheaper pearls. Pearl necklaces with pearls of 8mm and more are always knotted.
